KYIV: UNITED24 has partnered with Uber to launch an international fundraising campaign — ‘Keep Ukraine Moving’ — to raise funds for the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to buy urgently needed type-C ambulances. The campaign will showcase stories of life-saving bravery by Ukrainian drivers who are helping their communities and country during the war. The goal is to raise $1 million and Uber, inspired by the heroism of drivers in Ukraine, will then match this sum with a $1 million donation of its own.

Keep Ukraine Moving

With the launch of “Keep Ukraine Moving,” we are asking the world to unite in support of Ukraine and the emergency medical teams who continue to save lives every day.  For this, they need type-C ambulances, highly specialized vehicles equipped with the essential defibrillators, cardiac monitors, oxygen tanks, and artificial lung ventilator devices needed to keep the injured alive until they can reach an operating room.

Uber is providing additional support to the donation campaign by promoting it inside the Uber app in the United States, Canada, and Europe, as well as across the company’s global media channels. Anyone can make a donation and learn more of the brave Ukrainian drivers on the special UNITED24 landing page:  u24.gov.ua/uber

Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation, said: "For 7 months of work, the UNITED24 fundraising platform, initiated by President Zelenskyy, has united millions of donors from 110 countries and hundreds of international companies in support of Ukraine. We are very happy to partner with the Uber global team and believe that the launch of ‘Keep Ukraine Moving‘ will give even more people around the world an opportunity to help our country at a defining moment. Thanks to the work of UNITED24, 90 ambulances have already been purchased for Ukrainian doctors, but the need is measured in hundreds of vehicles, so this project is very timely!”

Anabel Diaz, Uber’s Regional General Manager of Mobility EMEA, said: “After nine months of full-scale war, the heroic people of Ukraine need our support more than ever. Ukrainian drivers have kept their country moving through times of unimaginable hardship and this is a way to share their stories of selfless bravery with the world. Through the ‘Keep Ukraine Moving’ campaign we hope to rally global support and much needed funds for ambulances, with Uber matching donations up to $1 million.”
